Clinical Director

As a young man, I was severely injured when I fell fourteen-feet backwards onto a concrete slab. I had a burst dislocation of the right wrist, a severe sprain of my left wrist and disc protrusions of the neck and lower back.

I was eventually referred to a chiropractor for treatment and my recovery began. The adjustment of my cervical region brought back the blood flow to my hands for the first time in six weeks.

My hand surgeon said that it was impossible and ordered x-rays to disprove my claim. He was shocked to discover what the chiropractor was able to achieve. That was when I knew I wanted to become a Doctor of Chiropractic.

I attended the newly-formed Palmer College of Chiropractic-West San Jose and received my doctorate in June, 1986. I was awarded the California Chiropractic Student Association Award and Harvey Lillard Scholarship. I was elected class Vice President and President and was a founding member of the Audibles, an on-campus jazz quartet.

I was first introduced to Neural Organization Technique (N.O.T.) while attending Palmer College. N.O.T. is a procedure that reactivates the nervous system to control, to grow and repair. My oldest son had a severe learning disability and was treated by a local N.O.T. doctor. The treatment was life-changing. My son went from a D to F student to an A to B student in the course of one school year. Today, my son is a successful teacher.

After graduation, I practiced in two unique clinics as an Associate, incorporating Applied Kinesiology and Touch for Health (methods of biofeedback to identify imbalances in the body’s musculoskeletal and energy systems) in my patients’ treatments.

In 1990 I attended a seminar on Neural Organization Technique (N.O.T.), by Dr. Carl Ferrari, founder of N.O.T. Dr. Ferrari was one of the early giants of Applied Kinesiology which had been discovered by Dr. George Goodheart. Dr. Ferrari took Applied Kinesiology upgraded, refined and created N.O.T. Over the next ten years, I traveled with Dr. Ferrari in the United States and Europe, first as a student, then as co-instructor. This was the same technique that changed my son’s life and I was very inspired and excited to participate in the program.

I opened Wade Chiropractic Center in 1992, employing Specialized Kinesiology (precision muscle testing), Neural Organization Technique (N.O.T.) and Diversified Technique (restoration of proper movement and alignment of the spine and joints). In order to better emphasize wellness and good health in my practice, in 2013 Wade Chiropractic Center became Wade Wellness Center.

I enjoy teaching and sharing wellness care experiences and devote a significant amount of time promoting alternative healthcare. As a Palmer-West Field Training Instructor, I mentor new practitioners in chiropractic technique and the business of chiropractic. I currently conduct seminars in Myofascial Release which is a soft tissue therapy for the treatment of skeletal muscle immobility and pain. The therapy relaxes contracted muscles, improves blood and lymphatic circulation and stimulates the stretch reflex in muscles. My seminars for Cranial Injury Technique corrects concussions and strengthens the neck musculature.

Your body has the power of control, protection, self-correction and growth. We simply need real food, fresh air and clean water. Through organization of the nervous system using Specialized Kinesiology and N.O.T., our patients reach full expression and total wellness.
